Sandra Alvarez established Alvarez Business Consultants, LLC as a legislative and business consulting firm in 2014 following her retirement from a 34-year tenure with AT&T Texas. She received her degree from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi in occupational training and development.

 

She was a registered lobbyist in the State of Texas, creating an environment that encourages state legislators to adopt legislation that creates fair competition in a variety of industries. Sandra uses her expertise in local and state governments, crisis communication, business, media, and lobbying to provide services to large Fortune 500 companies, businesses, cities and counties.  She has built a strong team that supports her with unique attributes and expertise.

 

Sandra has established an impeccable reputation as being honest, effective, reliable, dependable and ethical. She established this unique firm with highly specialized services that extend beyond the traditional public affairs roles.

 

We approach our opportunities with the intent to educate and identify citizen advocates from the community that have positive outlooks and that support economic development.  We engage them for testimony, letters of support to legislators and news outlets.

 

Ms. Alvarez's experience is next-to-none when it comes to establishing relationships and building public support.  She has consulted clients and projects of all sizes with legislative advocacy and campaigns.

 

Sandra has been recognized by her peers and has received numerous accolades and award from the communities she works in.  She has served on many boards and participates in giving back to the community she loves.

 

She enjoys spending time with her husband of 41 years, her children and grandchildren.
